We broke out the boots for Aundrea and Sean’s wedding at The Barn at Old Bethpage for a scene that Ren McCormick would have been proud of. The two spent the morning soaking it all in separately with their family and friends before finally meeting in the grass beside the barn for a ceremony that felt equal parts romantic and deeply personal.
“We did it! Of course we did!” Sean and Aundrea exclaimed between laughs as we wandered the property for a few quick bridal party photos and sunset portraits with the two of them. Light streamed through the trees in restless flashes of gold as we wandered between the farmhouse fences with Aundrea and Sean, the entire property glowing with the hazy warmth of late spring. Tucked away in the grass behind the barn, it felt like we had stepped clean out of Long Island and into some forgotten little country daydream. For a few minutes everything slowed down just enough for them to breathe it all in together before heading back into the party. And what a party it was! Cowboy boots hit the dance floor, the music never seemed to stop, and the entire night unfolded into one giant, joy-filled hoedown with every single guest fully along for the ride.
